Food Blog #27

What? It's April already?

Before I go on with my 27th food blog post, I just want to thank you guys so much for the wonderful comments. They may not be a lot, but I appreciate them as they are.

I love porridge! I mean, who does not?

I disagree when some people say porridge is the food for the sick and ailing. If it is cooked properly & correctly, porridge can be delicious, yummy, nutritious and healthy for you. That is why last Saturday after the Easter Vigil mass my family had porridge in Foh Sang for dinner.

Fish porridge. Wow, the portion is generous. Two to three people can have this together at one-go. Well, it depends on your hunger pangs. As for me, I finished this all by myself ;)

Seaweeds, carrots & cabbages are provided together with the porridge. Condiments I believe.

...and who would have thought that together with the porridge and condiments, my dad ordered zhu chap ( pig = pork+ skins + intestines) garnished with cucumber and hard boiled chicken eggs? Interesting. It ain't that bad.

So, if you're around KK and interested in late night dining/supper, drop by Foh Sang. There are a few restaurants/coffee shops to choose from; this place is full of activities day and night.
